Terms of Use

The rules for using the directory, accounts and membership.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

These Terms of Use set out the rules for using the website getfrom.eu (the “directory”) and the services provided through it. They constitute the terms and conditions (regulamin) required by the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means (ustawa o świadczeniu usług drogą elektroniczną). The Terms of Use are available free of charge on this page and may be saved or printed at any time.

1. Service provider

The directory is operated by Bismit Maciej Bis, Instalatorów 5A/180, 02-237 Warszawa, Poland, VAT ID: PL8652547088, REGON: 362681235 (“we”, “us”). We can be contacted at contact@getfrom.eu or through the contact form.

2. Definitions

  • User: any person using the directory.
  • Consumer: a User who is a natural person and uses the directory for purposes not directly related to their business or professional activity.
  • Account: the User’s personal area in the directory, created upon the purchase of a membership.
  • Member: a User with an active membership.

3. Services

We provide the following services by electronic means:

  • browsing and searching the list of shops, free of charge and without an Account;
  • the contact form and the shop report form, free of charge;
  • the Submit a shop form, free of charge;
  • an Account with member features (random shop suggestions, multiple options per filter, Strict product match, saved shops and shareable lists), available with a paid membership.

4. Technical requirements

Use of the directory requires a device with internet access and an up-to-date version of a commonly used web browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge) with JavaScript and cookies enabled. An Account additionally requires an active email address.

The use of services provided over the internet involves general risks, such as malware, phishing or unauthorised access to the User’s device. We recommend keeping the browser and operating system up to date, using antivirus software and keeping passwords confidential. We will never ask for a password by email.

5. Conclusion and termination of contracts

Free services. The contract for browsing and searching the directory is concluded when the User opens the website and terminates when the User leaves it. The contract for using a form is concluded when the User begins to complete the form and terminates when the form is submitted or the User leaves the page.

Account. The contract for an Account is concluded when the Account is created following the purchase of a membership and is concluded for an indefinite period. The User may terminate it at any time, without giving reasons, by deleting the Account under My account › Settings. Deleting the Account does not cancel membership payments; the membership should therefore be cancelled beforehand (see section 9).

We may terminate the Account contract for important reasons with 14 days’ notice, sent by email, in particular in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms of Use. Where the breach consists in providing unlawful content or endangers the security of the directory, we may terminate the contract with immediate effect.

6. Nature of the directory

The directory lists independent online shops that manufacture their products in Europe and deliver across the European Union, and helps Users find them. We do not sell products, do not process orders or payments on behalf of the shops and are not a party to any contract concluded between a User and a shop. We do not receive commission on purchases made in the listed shops, and links to shops are not affiliate links. Purchases, deliveries, returns and complaints concerning products are governed exclusively by the contract between the User and the shop and by the shop’s own terms.

Each shop is reviewed manually before it is listed, and we make reasonable efforts to keep the information in the directory accurate. However, shops may change their products, prices, delivery areas and policies at any time, and we therefore cannot guarantee that this information is always complete and up to date.

Some shop descriptions are prepared with the assistance of AI tools, based on information published on the shops’ own websites, and are labelled accordingly. All descriptions are provided for general information purposes only. Before making a purchase, Users should verify important details, such as prices, delivery terms and the origin of products, on the shop’s website.

7. Ranking and promoted placements

By default, shops are listed in order of the date on which they were added, starting with the most recent. On the homepage, shops may be displayed in a random order that changes at regular intervals. Search results are ordered according to their relevance to the search query. Users may change the order at any time using the sort menu.

Shops may purchase a promoted placement. Promoted shops are displayed above the regular list and are always clearly labelled, for example as “Promoted”. Payment has no influence on whether a shop is accepted into the directory or on its position in the regular list. Promoted placements are not displayed to signed-in Users.

8. Rules of use

Users are required to use the directory in accordance with the law, these Terms of Use and good practice. In particular, it is not permitted to:

  • provide content that is unlawful, misleading or infringes the rights of third parties, including in forms, list names or reports;
  • copy the directory or substantial parts of it by automated means, such as scrapers, bots or similar tools;
  • circumvent rate limits, security measures or the separation between free and member features;
  • disrupt or overload the website or the systems that support it.

9. Membership

Scope. A membership provides access to the member features listed in section 3. The current features and the price, including taxes, are presented on the Membership page before purchase.

Payment. Memberships are sold through Creem (creem.io), which acts as reseller and merchant of record. Creem processes payments, charges applicable taxes and issues invoices. Creem’s terms of sale apply to the purchase in addition to these Terms of Use.

Term and cancellation. A membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled. It may be cancelled at any time, without giving reasons, under My account › Billing or in the billing portal linked there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, until which all member features remain available. The Account and saved shops are retained after the membership ends, until the Account is deleted, and become available again upon renewal.

Right of withdrawal. Consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving reasons, in accordance with the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (ustawa o prawach konsumenta). Details, including how to exercise this right, are provided at checkout and in Creem’s terms of sale.

Conformity with the contract. We are responsible for providing the member features in accordance with the contract. Any lack of conformity may be reported as a complaint (see section 11). Consumers are entitled to the rights provided for in the Consumer Rights Act, in particular to have the features brought into conformity, to a price reduction or to withdraw from the contract.

Changes to features and prices. We may develop and improve the member features. Members will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance of any change that significantly and adversely affects their access to or use of the features, and may terminate the contract free of charge before the change takes effect. Price changes will be notified at least 30 days before they apply. The new price applies from the first billing period following that date, and the membership may be cancelled before then.

10. Saved shops, shared lists and submitted shops

Members may save shops and organise them into lists. A shared list, including the shops it contains and the Member’s account name, can be viewed by anyone who has its link. Sharing may be disabled at any time, after which the previous link no longer works. Shared lists are available only while the membership is active.

Users may submit shops to the directory free of charge. By submitting information, the User confirms that it is accurate to the best of their knowledge and permits us to use it to review the shop and describe it in the directory. Submission does not create an entitlement to a listing; each submission is assessed against our listing criteria. Shop owners may contact us to request the correction or removal of a listing.

11. Complaints

Complaints concerning our services may be submitted by email to contact@getfrom.eu or through the contact form. A complaint should include the User’s email address and a description of the issue. We will respond by email within 14 days of receiving the complaint. Complaints concerning products purchased from shops should be addressed to the shop concerned.

12. Intellectual property

The design, texts, selection and arrangement of the directory are protected by copyright and database rights. The directory may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use, in particular copying or republishing substantial parts of the directory, requires our prior written consent. Shop names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

13. Links and availability

The directory contains links to shops and other websites over which we have no control, and we accept no responsibility for their content, products or services. Links to websites found to be unlawful will be removed.

We aim to ensure that the directory is continuously available. Maintenance, technical issues or events beyond our control may, however, cause temporary interruptions. Where possible, maintenance is carried out during periods of low traffic.

14. Liability

We are not liable for the products, services, prices or conduct of the shops listed in the directory, or for decisions made on the basis of information about shops, as described in section 6. Towards Users who are not Consumers, our liability is limited to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Towards Consumers, we are liable in accordance with generally applicable law; nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits the rights of Consumers under mandatory provisions of law.

15. Changes to the Terms of Use

We may amend these Terms of Use for important reasons, such as changes in the law, decisions of public authorities or courts, the introduction of new services or features, or the need to improve security. The amended Terms of Use will be published on this page, and Members will be notified by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. A Member who does not accept the changes may terminate the Account contract before they take effect by cancelling the membership and deleting the Account.

16. Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers may use out-of-court methods of handling complaints and pursuing claims. In Poland, these include assistance from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (miejski lub powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów), mediation by a provincial inspectorate of the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) and the permanent consumer arbitration courts operating at these inspectorates. Further information is available on the website of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl). The use of these methods is voluntary for both parties.

17. Governing law and final provisions

These Terms of Use are governed by Polish law. For Consumers residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive them of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence. Disputes with Users who are not Consumers are subject to the jurisdiction of the court competent for our place of business.

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. These Terms of Use apply from 16 October 2026.
